Q: Can a tour of the facility be arranged for family members before making a decision about admission?
|
A: Yes. Simply call 620-227-8551 and you will be directed to a person on staff who can give a tour and supply any additional information you may need.

Q: What if my mother does not have financial resources to pay for care at Trinity?
|
A: Trinity Manor is Medicaid certified, meaning we will give the same quality care to those folks who apply to State of Kansas SRS for financial assistance. |

Q: How much does care cost if a person does not qualify for Medicaid assistance?
|
A: A semi private room is $115.00 dollars per day; level of care charges can be $6.00, 9.00, 12.00 or $15.00 per day depending on how much additional physical help is needed.

Q: How do we get financial assistance? |
A: Applications are available at the SRS office on Avenue P in Dodge City, Kansas. They will tell you more about that program during the application process.

Q: Who pays for needed medications?
|
A: In a private pay situation it is billed to the resident or responsible party directly from their pharmacy of choice, just as if the resident were living in their private home. If they are receiving assistance from Medicaid, most medications will be provided through that program. Trinity Manor will provide some medications.

Q: Do the residents ever get to go out of the Facility?
|
A: Regular outings are planned which include going to the Circus, Concert, Ballets, Dining in fine restaurants, touring the City Park and rides in the country to name a few.

Q: Will there be anything for my father, mother, husband, wife to do at Trinity?
|
A: Yes, absolutely. We have two Activity Directors and one Activity Assistant providing a broad range of activities in accordance with the resident’s capabilities and their life’s interest. Even the severely impaired are provided with an activity program including sensory stimulation and soothing and calming techniques.

Q: Can we have a family gathering? |
A: The Activity room is available for reservations. Families can bring in food to share with their loved one or, for a nominal charge, arrangements can be made for our dietary staff to serve our menu.
