Meredith Bechard

Executive Director/Administrator

 

Meredith directs the overall operations of resident services in the provision of high quality resident care.  She works with community services, vendors, physicians and others to carry out the mission of the organization.

 

Meredith joined the Trinity Team as Administrator on July 1, 2007.

CARROL BURNETT

Social Services Coordinator - Trinity Manor

 

Carrol assesses the needs of each resident in attaining and maintaining their highest possible level of functioning.  She helps staff members to understand the specific needs of each resident and assists  residents and family members in accepting the resident's illness and placement. 

 

Carrol supervises and coordinates the social services, activities and transportation departments as well as Trinity Manor's in-house  beauty shop.  She also facilitates Trinity's family support group.

 

She is a certified Social Services Designee with accumulative hours of education on Alzheimer's and related dementia.

 

Carrol has been with Trinity since February, 1990, and has been Social Service Coordinator since 1997.

Martha (Marti) Spencer

 

MARTHA (MARTI) SPENCER

QA/QI Coordinator

MDS Coordinator

 

As MDS Coordinator, Marti is responsible for accurate  completion and transmissions of resident assessments in a timely manner and in accordance with facility policy and regulations.  She schedules and conducts Care Plan meetings and is responsible for entering and maintaining care plan data. 

 

She was hired in 1993 as Assistant Director of Nursing.  Other positions held include: Director of Nursing, Medicare Director and Staff Development Coordinator.  Marti has been Nursing Services Coordinator since May 2001.

A Registered Nurse,  Marti worked in Coronary Care and ER before her tenure in the long-term care field. 

 

She is a member of the First United Methodist Church, Senior Friends, Women's Chamber of Commerce and Trinity Volunteers.

ANGIE SCOTT

Nursing Service Coordinator

 

As Nursing Service Coordinator, Angie is responsible for staffing, resident care and evaluation of services provided by the Nursing Department.  She is also available to families, residents and staff as needed. 

 

Angie joined the Trinity team on July 19, 2004 as Special Care Unit Neighborhood Director.  She has been the  Nursing Service Coordinator since July 2005.  Prior to coming to Trinity, she was on staff at the Dodge City Medical Center for  8 years; 3 years in internal medicine and 5 years in neurology. 

 

She received her RN, BSN from Fort Hays State University where she studied neurology (Alzheimer's).

 

 

 

DICK ROBBINS

Chaplain

 

As Chaplain at Trinity, Dick  provides spiritual, religious and personal counseling or guidance to residents, family members and employees.  Dick is the facilitator for Trinity's family support group.  He implemented resident memorial services at Trinity for family members, residents and staff.

 

Dick has been with Trinity since July 2002.  Special training includes Master of Divinity and the Ilife School of Theology.

 

He is Chairperson of the Advisory Committee of the Santa Fe Trail Community Corrections, a member of the Dodge City Police Auxiliary,  Chaplain for Hospice of the Prairie.

RUTH TERRILL

Food Service Director

 

Ruth came to work for Trinity in February, 2003.  She is responsible for the total operation of the Food Service Department for both Trinity Manor and Trinity Center. This includes food preparation and the supervision of personnel within the department.  She also coordinates the "Meals on Wheels" and "Friendship Meals" programs. 

 

She is currently working toward dietary management certification. Her past experience includes 20 years  in the restaurant and dietary business in the state of Iowa.

 

She is a member of the American Baptist Women and is active in her local church.

KRISTY KUGLER

Finance Director

 

Kristy directs and coordinates activities concerning financial administration, general accounting, financial and statistical reporting and computer functions of the corporation.  She assures compliance and preparation of monthly reports and special analysis of information for income, expenditures, budget and capital assets of the organization.  She also assures Medicare A and Medicare B billing accuracy.

 

Kristy was hired in March 2000 as Assistant Finance Director and was promoted to Finance Director in 2002.  She attended Dodge City Community College and studied finance at Fort Hays State University.

 

 

Support Staff - Manor

 

BRITTA CLARK

Medical Records Director & Privacy Officer

 

Britta determines and assists in the development of the record keeping needs of Trinity.  She evaluates medical records for compliance with federal and state regulations in accordance with Trinity policies.   She also serves as Trinity's Privacy Officer.

 

 She is certified as a Nurse's Aide, Medication Aide and Restorative Aide.  Britta has also had EMS training and is planning to further her education in the near future.

Activities Director - North and South Halls

 

Sharon assesses the interest and activity needs of each of the residents on North and South halls.  She plans, schedules and supervises or carries out activities to meet the individual needs of these residents.

 

Her career with Trinity began in February 1988.  She has been Activity Director  for the past 9 years.  She is also licensed as a Certified Nurse Aide, Certified Medication Aide, Restorative Aide and Social Service Designee/Activity Director.

 

Sharon stated, "I enjoy working for Trinity . . . some of the best people to work with . . . and I truly enjoy being an Activity Director and having fun with resident's."

 

Sharon is a member of the Women's Chamber and the Moose Lodge.

 

 

 

 

 

ERNIE MILLER

Plant Operations Coordinator

Trinity Manor & Trinity Center

 

Ernie assists in providing a safe, healthful environment at Trinity Manor, Trinity Center and Trinity's  Administration Building, by maintaining the buildings, grounds and equipment in good condition. 

 

He is responsible for the delegation and supervision of other maintenance staff at the Manor and Center and is skilled in performing maintenance functions.  Ernie's major responsibilities include a preventative maintenance program, as well as daily repair and upkeep to ensure safe and efficient operation of the facilities.

 

He has been with Trinity since May 1998 and has special training in Architectural Drafting.

CONNIE SCHAUVLIEGE

Beautician - Trinity Manor

"Golden Years Beauty Shop"

 

The "Golden Years Beauty Shop" is the in-house beauty salon at Trinity Manor.  Connie is the Beautician and as such, assesses proper hair care needs for each resident at the request of the resident or responsible party. 

 

Connie also takes appointments from outside clientele.

 

She has been with Trinity since August 2003.  She is licensed by the Kansas State Board of Cosmetology and has had her own beauty shop for the past 17 years.  She is also a Certified Nurse Aide.

 

"I am a people person.  I love working with the elderly and listening to stories of the past."

Trisha is a fairly new member of the Trinity team.  She was hired in August 2003.
