WHOM WE SERVE

Trinity Association of Southwest Kansas is a not-for-profit organization born from the Christian tradition of caring.  Our purpose is to provide a full range of retirement services for people in Dodge City, Kansas and the surrounding area in order to maximize their independence.

 

As a charitable organization, Trinity serves all older people regardless of race, color or religion.  These services include independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing care and special nursing care for Alzheimer’s and other dementia.

 

Purpose

 

The primary purpose of Trinity Association of Southwest Kansas, its Board of Trustees, administration, professional staff, and other employees and volunteers, is to provide a professionally organized, comprehensive health care program.  We will endeavor to develop and maintain, within fiscal feasibility, physical facilities, program for health care, and health maintenance activities, through the sharing of available resources.

 

Specifically, Trinity continues to assume major responsibility for:

 

-   providing a unique housing facility and coordinated services for the elderly of Dodge City, Kansas and the surrounding area;

-   providing a licensed nursing facility for the Dodge City, Kansas and Ford County area;

-   expansion of present services, investigating other needs within the health care delivery system and development of additional appropriate services.

 

It is also Trinity’s purpose to cooperate with other agencies and organizations in meeting the health needs of the community; to promote public awareness of available resources, and to strive to improve the level and quality of care being offered to residents of Southwest Kansas.

 

The Governing Board of the Methodist Hospital Association will provide those it serves with the best possible care by:

 

-   providing competent personnel at all levels and in all areas;

-   therefore, establishing a sound program of compensation and work conditions;

-   treating all employees with respect for their personal worth, natural rights and dignity as human beings.
